Getting Here
Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center is located north of Lawlor Events Center on Virginia and 16th streets, on the University of Nevada, Reno campus, 1.5 miles north of the downtown Reno arch. Free parking is available in the West Stadium Parking Complex, level 3, just east of the planetarium.
Ride for free to the planetarium on the Sierra Spirit bus from one of 32 stops along Virginia Street from downtown Reno. Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center is also served by Citifare bus lines, with stops throughout Reno and Sparks.
Summer and Holiday Hours
June 9-Aug. 25, Sept. 4, Nov. 10, Nov. 24 and Dec. 26-Jan. 5: Sunday-Thursday: 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
Fall and Winter Hours
Sunday-Thursday: 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year’s Day
